The Central Iowa Water Trails project in 2020 went from “this would be great if it happened, to this is happening.”

“So I think in 2021 we’re going to see more of that come online, more of the actual bones of this long-term, multigenerational project be built, and turning from sort of this startup to a longtime fixture within the community,” said Hannah Inman, CEO of the Great Outdoors Foundation, one of the founding partner organizations behind the initiative to increase access and engagement with the region’s waterways.
